Joseph Norman Arenburg, 78, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on September 28, 1942 the son of the late Lyman and Annette (Dussault) Arenburg and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1960 and from the Community College of the Air Force in 1974 with a degree in Human Resources. Norman entered the US Air Force at the age of 17 where he served for 24 years. After his retirement from the USAF, he was employed at the local paper mill. He was a member of the Dupont-Holmes Post #82, American Legion in Gorham.
Family includes his wife Dianne (LaBrecque) Arenburg of Gorham, NH; children Michael Arenburg and wife Diane of Nashua, NH, Steve Arenburg of Concord, NH, Mark Arenburg of Concord, NH and Kevin Arenburg of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Hillary (Arenburg) Blake of Eaton, NH, Max Arenburg of Lowell, MA, Alex Arenburg of Scarborough, ME, Emilie Arenburg of Nashua, NH and Nicholas Arenburg of Nashua, NH; siblings Florence Tremblay of Berlin, NH and Theresa Giroux of Berlin, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, FEBRUARY 27, 2021 at 10am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin. There will be no calling hours. Interment with Military Honors will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10am. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham is in charge of the arrangements.
