Joseph P. Mondor

Joseph P. Mondor, 75, of Berlin, passed away on November 4, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Manchester, NH on March 26, 1942 the son of Louis G. and Bella A. (Desruisseaux) Mondor and lived there much of his life. He moved to Colebrook, NH where he worked for Bose Electronics. He then moved to Groveton where he lived for 15 years and then lived in Whitefield before moving to Berlin 4 years ago. During his life, he had been employed by shoe shops and had also worked at Vallee Steak House in Maine. Family includes his wife Virginia (Bixby) Mondor of Berlin, NH; children Maurice Mondor and Michael Mondor of Portsmouth, NH; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother Michael Mondor of Hooksett, NH; a sister Pauline Blondeau of Lakeshore, FL; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Matthew Mondor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 20, 2017 at 10am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
