Laura M. (Lacroix) Blais, formerly of Mill Street, Gorham passed away Sunday evening (October 17, 2010) at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home in Berlin following a short illness. She was 80 years old.

Born on January 16, 1930 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Emile and Eva (Pinette) Lacroix.

She grew up in Berlin and was a graduate of Berlin High School.

Retiring in the mid 1970's, she was employed at Bass Shoe Company in the stitching department.

She loved doing crafts and playing cards, and puzzle games on her computer.

Her husband of 55 years Robert O. Blais died Oct 13, 2003 and sisters Marie and Germaine also pre-deceased her.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Robert Blais of Woburn, MA, Roger Blais and his wife Irene of Berlin, and Roland Blais and his wife Judy of Gorham.

A daughter: Florence Allen and her husband Richard of Berlin.

8 Grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter

A brother: Robert Lacroix and his wife Betty of Rutland, VT.

A brother-in-law Roland St. Pierre of Rutland, VT.

Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Burial will be at Mount Hayes Cemetery in Gorham.
