Laurent E Houle

Laurent E. Houle passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 01, 2019. He was 91 years old.



Born in Berlin on February 14, 1928 he was the son of William and Mary (Laroche) Houle. He served in Korea with the U.S. Army. Following his service he returned to Berlin and worked as a Wood Room Operator for James River Corp.



Laurent was married to Therese Lapointe and together they raised three sons. He enjoyed going fishing, playing cards and going for walks. He most enjoyed his time with family friends.



Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Therese (Lapointe); a son Marcel Houle; brother Archie, Emile and Wilfred Houle and sisters Alice Perreault and Irene Aubut.



He leaves behind two sons, Norman Houle of Burlington, VT and Lucien Houle of Berlin, NH; grandson, Eric Houle of Berlin; two great-grandsons Jason and Justin Houle; a great-great grandson Carter Houle; brothers Henry and Richard Houle; sister Laurette Poulin, and many nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be held prior to the Chapel Service on Wednesday, September 4th from 9am to 10am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.



A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4th at 10am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
