Laurie (Young) Steeves of Berlin passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center. She was 79 years old.



Born on June 29, 1938 in Salem, NH she was the daughter of Wilfred and Iola (Conley) Young.



Lauries greatest joy was her family; she enjoyed camping, sewing, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved to laugh and she couldnt help but care for any stray cat that came along.



Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband Laurence Steeves who passed away in 2013; a son Lorren Steeves who passed away 2017; a daughter Elissa Steeves who passed away in 1977; siblings Warren Young, James Young and Francis (Pat) Lynch.



She leaves behind her sons Terry Steeves and Pat of Palacka, FL, and Larry Steeves and wife Dawn of Berlin; daughters Sherry Steeves of Berlin and Tandra Eames and husband Larry of Interlachen, FL; grandchildren Elissa, Evan, Jonathan, Andrew, Valerie, Kristin, Jennifer and Keri; great-grandchildren Kayla, Adyson, Nicholas and Kadyn; a sister Judith Levesque of Manchester, NH; a daughter-in-law Cindy Steeves of Berlin; several nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
