Leo A. Turmel

Leo A. Turmel, 78, of Berlin, passed away on Monday August 19, 2024 after a life filled with joy and laughter. He was born in Berlin on May 5, 1946 the son of the late Leo A. Turmel, Sr. and Aline C. (Laliberte) Turmel. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1966 and married his wife Paulette of 58 years only two weeks after graduating. Leo enjoyed time with his family, loved camping, playing golf and cards, gambling at the Casino and watching his grandchildren play any sport they enjoyed.

 Family includes his wife Paulette (McGee) Turmel of Berlin, NH; oldest son Scott Turmel and wife Kelly of Berlin, NH and their two children Tiah and Tyler; youngest son Dan Turmel, wife Leslie and grand-daughter Kaitlin of Tilton, NH. Leo’s siblings Robert Turmel of Pawtucket, RI, Jeanne Plant of Bakersfield, CA, Estelle Spencer of Bakersfield, CA and Roland Turmel of Archdale, NC; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Richard Turmel and Michael Turmel.

 Friends and family are welcome to attend graveside services to be held on Monday August 26, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Anne Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
