Leon A. Smith Jr.

Leon A. Smith Jr., 66, of Berlin, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday morning August 2, 2017. He was born in Concord, NH on October 23, 1950, the son of Leon A. Smith Sr. and Etta Mary (Martin) Smith. Leon was a graduate of Concord High School. His employment included the Concord Monitor, Beede Electric, AAA, carpet cleaning, Pilgrim Furniture and Yield House Furniture. Leon was very proud of his native heritage. He is survived by, his significant other Paula Dowling of Berlin; a daughter Bethana Smith of Manchester and a son Leon A. Smith III of Concord; grandchildren, great grandchildren; step daughters, Tonya Garnett of Steuben, ME and Lisa Gatcomb of Winter Harbor, ME and special friends, Jerry and Shelly Lunderville of Berlin. He was predeceased by his grandson Frankie. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Saturday August 5, 2017 from 7 to 9 PM.
