Lionel "Jack" Morneau

Lionel Jack Morneau, 89, son of Joseph and Marie Anne (Beland) Morneau, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. A lifelong resident of Berlin, he graduated from Berlin High School with the class of 1942; he was a decorated World War II veteran and retired from James River Corp. after 43 years. He was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, VFW Post 61 and the Eagles Club. Jack loved camping with his family, was an avid ice fish man and a lifetime fan of the Red Sox. He is predeceased by his parents and his loving wife of 64 years Therese (Savard) Morneau. He is survived by three sons, Robert Morneau of Berlin, Lucien Morneau and his wife Rose of Berlin and Richard Morneau and wife Michaela of Milan, two daughters Diane Morneau of Berlin and Ann Fiorentino and her husband Scott of York, ME, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
