Lorena A. Lessard

Mrs. Lorena A. (Smith) Lessard, 82, of 34 Washington Street, Gorham, NH and formerly of, Berlin, NH passed away on January 23, 2008 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in North Conway, NH on March 24, 1925 the daughter of Charles and Ella (Smith) Smith and came to Berlin in 1952. She was a graduate of Kennett High School with the class of 1942. Lorena was a member of the United Methodist Church in Berlin and a former member of the Winthrop Grange. She had been employed by the Granite State Rubber Company for many years. Members of the family include 5 daughters Diana Maurice of East Derry, NH, June Warner of Plano, TX, Carolene Warner of Walnut Creek, CA, Karen Triest of Orinda, CA and Lynne Lessard of Gorham, NH; her one and only son Carl Lessard of Enfield, CT; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Lena Lyman of Conway, NH and Lois Melrose of Boca Raton, FL; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Lessard in 2004. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Mt. Hayes Cemetery in Gorham at a later date. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Homes. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to a charity of ones choice in her memory.
