Loretta (Hagar) Lang

Mrs. Loretta (Hagar) Lang, 86, of West Milan, NH passed away on Thursday July 29, 2010 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. She was born in Berlin, NH on Jan. 3, 1924 the daughter of Harold and Margaret (Corcoran) Hagar and had lived her entire life in West Milan, prior to becoming a resident of the nursing home over 6 years ago. Loretta had been employed for 20 years as a ward secretary at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. Her home was open to everyone and she loved cooking, feeding people, fishing, hunting and had received a moose lottery permit when she was in her 70s. Members of the family include three sons Reginald Lang and his wife Louise of Raymond, NH, Albert Lang Jr. and his wife Jacquiline of Raymond, NH and Ernest Lang of Florida; 10 grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, a daughter Joyce and a brother Harold Hagar. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in West Milan. Relatives and friends may call at funeral home on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM, prior to the service.
