Lorraine (Roy) Croteau, 81, a lifetime resident of Berlin NH, passed away on the evening of November 25, 2024 with all three of her children by her side. She was born on February 3rd, 1943, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Berube) Roy. She married Joseph Roger Croteau, also of Berlin, NH on October 30th, 1965 and was married for 46 years before his passing in August of 2012.

For many years, she used her knitting skills making quilts, hats and booties for AIDS Babies. She had a soft spot for veterans, and also had a gift for working with the elderly. She dedicated herself to caring for her mother and her aunts in their final stages of life.
Lorraine was a devoted mother and grandmother and always said she was happiest when spending time with family. She also loved traveling, reading, cross-country skiing, knitting, sewing, and playing cards.
She is survived by her children, Lucie Wyatt and partner Keith Couture of Berlin, NH; Dan Croteau of Berlin, NH, and his partner Brenda Letellier of Milan NH; and Diane Langlois and husband Michael of Keene, NH; grandchildren Valerie Gamache and husband Jon, Joel Wyatt and wife Madeleine, Ben Langlois, Noah Wyatt, and Ryan Langlois; greatgrandchildren Garrett and Addison; as well many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
