Louise C. Hood, 87, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Berlin on August 27, 1937 the daughter of Jean Paul and Lucienne (Belanger) Dancoes and was a lifelong resident. Louise had been employed at Converse Rubber Co for 20 years, had worked at Toni’s Pizza for 11 years and had also worked at the Sugar & Spice Bakery for 11 years. She enjoyed playing BINGO.
Family includes her children Paul Hood of Berlin, Raymond Hood of Berlin, Ricky Hood of Berlin, Robin Hood of Berlin and Cynthia Caron of Berlin; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings Marguerite Dancoes of Berlin, NH, Roland Dancoes of Spring, TX, Jeannette Dancoes of Berlin, NH and Ann Marie Alimandi Gagne of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond R. Hood, sons Michael Hood and Scott A. Hood and siblings Estelle Pitrie and Geoge Dancoes.
Per Louise’s request, there will be no services. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
