Luc L. Godbout, (Luke, Uncle Lukie) 59, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. Luc was born in Berlin, NH on October 9, 1964, the son of the late Roland and Irene Godbout. He started working in his youth at Wildcat Ski Area, later White Mountain Lumber and Vallee Lumber Co. in Milan and, Mountain Tire Corp. He was an avid motorcyclist and member of the Road Kings Motorcycle Club for 20+ years. He loved riding with his friends and his beloved wife. He made friends anywhere he was and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Luke was especially known for being the life of the party with his "Wild man" long hair and beard, tattooed biker style with a gentle soul and infectious laugh unlike any other. He liked to play around on his drum kit and listen to his Rock'n'Roll and Heavy Metal albums. One of his hobbies included woodworking and making such things as various types of tables and boxes, etc.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of nearly 20 years Jamie (Johnston) Godbout of Berlin; a daughter Tabitha Godbout and wife Alyssa of Massachusetts; a grandson Gabriel Godbout; step-son Cameron Broad of Errol; many chosen nieces and nephews, along with cousins and many good friends that he considered family.
A Celebration Life will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 1030-130 at the White Mountain Chalet, 161 E. Milan Road, Berlin, NH. A brief service and sharing memories of Luke will start at 11am, followed by lunch. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory.
