Mrs. Lydia M. (Therriault) Goddard, 83, of Berlin, NH passed away on Aug. 9 , 2005 at her home after a period of failing health. She was born in Berlin, NH on Aug. 8, 1922 the daughter of Richard and Rose (Ross) Therriault and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Anne Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, a member of the Androscoggin Valley Country Club and was an avid golfer and champion candlepin bowler. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Granite State Rubber Company and Ware Knitters. Her husband of 64 years, Alphonse M. Goddard, passed away on the same day. Members of the family include two daughters Jeannette Morneau of Gorham, NH and Paulette Lowry of Madison, NH; four grandchildren Kenneth L. Lowry, Elizabeth A. Reus, Michael R. Morneau and Matthew J. Morneau; 3 great grandchildren Owen L. Reus, Ethan R. Reus and Rachel Anne Morneau; a sister Ella Blais of Florida; a brother Norman Gauvin of Lancaster,NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 13, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
