Maggie L. Garon

Maggie L. Garon, 74, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital, in the arms of her husband, Larry. She was born in Berlin on April 15, 1949 the daughter of the late Leonard and Rita (Caron) Giroux and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Notre Dame High School with the Class of 1967 and had been employed as a secretary for Guardian Angel Church and later for Good Shepherd Parish. She had also been employed by Globe Shopping Center, Converse Rubber Co and Bass Shoe. Maggie was an active member of Good Shepherd Parish where she had been a longtime member of the prayer shawl ministry and was an active volunteer.

Family includes her husband Larry Garon of Berlin, NH; brothers Gerard Giroux and wife Terry of Berlin, NH and Normand Giroux of Berlin, NH; sister-in-law Melissa Giroux of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Maurice Giroux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 13, 2024 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday January 12, 2024 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM.
