Marcel A. Gagne of Berlin passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 88 years old.
He served in the U.S. Army where he fought in the Korean War. He worked as a laborer at Paul Valley Lumber.
Marcel was an avid sports fan, a strong supporter of the New England teams. He enjoyed playing Bingo and attending the variety of activities at the Nursing Home. He was a communicant at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, and continued his faith in the Chapel at the Nursing Home.
He was a generous man with a big heart. He easily made friends with his gentle and caring ways. He made many friends at the Nursing Home and will truly be missed by many.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Robert and his sisters Doris and Jeannette.
He leaves behind his brother Paul and his wife Pauline and a sister Lucille; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00pm at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
