Marcel F. Girouard, Jr.

Marcel F. Girouard passed away in his home on December 30, 2018. He was 70 years old.



Born in Berlin on November 14, 1948 he was the son of Marcel and Marie-Rose (Allard).



Marcel graduated from Notre Dame high school and earned his Bachelors degree from New Hampshire College in Manchester. Following his graduation he was employed with several local oil companies, he was recently semi-retired from Irving Oil.



Spending time with family was his greatest joy. He loved being outdoors and spending time at Nay Pond. Snow machining and fishing were highlights of his time.



Marcel was predeceased by his parents.



He leaves behind his siblings: Marie Jean Morrissette and husband Albert of Berlin, Robert Girouard and wife Clarice of Madison, NH and Diane Sheets and husband John of Berlin; several nieces and nephews; and an Uncle Norman Girouard and wife Claire of Dummer, NH.



Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm and on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 8:30am to 9:30am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH 03570



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
