Marie-Paule F. Cotnoir

Mrs. Marie-Paule F (Gagne) Cotnoir, 71, of 740 Second Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Friday February 2, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. She was born in St. Just-de-Bretenieres, P. Q., Canada on February 6, 1935 the daughter of Charles and Lucina (Poulin) Gagne and came to the Berlin-Gorham area in 1958. She studied to be a nun and then worked in the textile industry in Sherbrooke, P.Q., Canada. She enjoyed socializing, her family and her home. Members of the family include 2 sons Gerard Cotnoir of Berlin, NH and Raymond Cotnoir of Randolph, NH; 2 daughters Carmen Clark of Berlin, NH and Helene Cotnoir of Berlin, NH; 3 grandchildren; brothers Normand Gagne of West Milan, NH, Roland Gagne of Windsor Mills, P.Q., Fernand Gagne of Coaticook, P.Q., Gilles Gagne of St. Bruno, P.Q.; sisters Therese Pouliot of Quebec City, P.Q., Monique Gagne of Quebec City, P.Q., Lucille Carboneau of Coaticook, P.Q., Kelda Benoit of Coaticook, P.Q. and Marie-Raene Gingras of Sherbrook, P.Q.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Rene A. Cotnoir on October 18, 2006. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Tuesday February 6, 2007 from 9-11AM. Those who wish to join the funeral procession, please meet at the funeral home at 1:00 PM for the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH at 2:00 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
