Michael "Gunner" Hood

Mr. Michael P. Gunner Hood, 50, of 164 Pine Street, Berlin, NH, passed away on January 15, 2009. He was born in Berlin, NH on August 1, 1958 the son of Rudolph R. and Louise C. (Dancoes) Hood and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed by Swallow & Son, Robert Bertin Concrete and Maine Drilling and Blasting. He played darts in the Monday Night League, was an avid race fan loved to ice fish and enjoyed being with his friends. Members of the family include his parents Rudy R. and Louise C. (Dancoes) Hood of Berlin, NH; brothers Paul R. Hood and fiancee Brenda Stone of Berlin, NH, Raymond Hood and wife Susan of Berlin, NH, Ricky P. Hood of Berlin, NH and Robin M. Hood of Berlin, NH; sister Cynthia Caron and husband Mitch of Berlin, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by an infant brother Scott Allen Hood. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM and the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 to 11 prior to the service.
