Michael J Ryan

Michael John Ryan, 69, of Shelburne, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Baltimore, MD to John and Anne (Belz) Ryan on April 21, 1950. He was raised in Bel Air, MD and attended Perry Hall Senior High School where he met his future wife, Deborah Tircuit, in 1967 and graduated with the class of 1968. The couple married in a private ceremony in Parkville, MD on December 30, 1972.



Mike worked at Baltimore Gas and Electric as an Electric Systems Operator for 13 years. Mike and Debbie were outdoor enthusiasts and every chance they got they would be hiking and camping in the mountains. In 1985 they moved to Shelburne to be closer to the mountains they loved and soon started Moriah Design Agency where he worked as the business manager. Mike was an avid long distance cyclist and enjoyed cross country ski racing. He served his community as a member of the Shelburne Memorial Forest Committee, and helped maintain the memorial there. Mike and Debbie lived their dream, marrying as high school sweethearts and living and working together in the mountains they both loved.



Michael is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deborah Ryan, a sister Pamela Anne Ryan, of Abingdon, MD, and his beloved dog Trooper.



There will be a Celebration of Mikes Life on Monday October 28, 2019 at 11AM at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St. Berlin preceded by a Visiting Hour from 10-11AM.
