Muriel Mcgivney

Miss Muriel J. McGivney, 83, of 536 First Avenue, Berlin, NH, passed away on Thursday October 26, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on September 26, 1923 the daughter of Walter and Marion (Riley) McGivney and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Berlin High School with the Class of 1941. She had been employed for 45 years as an Assistant Supervisor in the Accounts Payable Department at Brown Company, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include nieces Mrs. Karen Liechti of Lincoln, NB and Mrs. Tracey Klein of Edmond, OK; 2 nephews Dr. Randall McGivney of Burr Ridge, IL and Dr. Tom McGivney of Aurora, IL; cousins Bruce Landrigan of Berlin, NH, Eleanor Hartshorn of Conneticut and Lois Erskine of Wells, ME and her beloved cats Bentley and Lucky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 2, 2006 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
