Nancy A. Hood

Mrs. Nancy A. Hood, 50, of 76 Bemis Street in Berlin passed away suddenly on May 25, 2009 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME. She was born in Berlin, NH on November 23, 1958 the daughter of Mr. Eugene and Anne (Foley) Cote and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a 1977 graduate of Berlin High School and was a graduate of Plymouth State College. She was employed by the Androscoggin Valley Hospital as Office Coordinator of the Specialty Physicians Practice. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Attending her childrens sporting events was extremely special to her. Members of her family include her husband Donnie Hood of Berlin; one son Bryan Hood of Berlin; one daughter Megan Hood of Berlin; her parents Eugene and Anne (Foley) Cote of Port Richey, FL and formerly of Berlin; two sisters Mary Anne Tyler and her husband Tim of Rumford, ME, Diane Amero and her husband Michael of Franklin, NH; one brother Richard Cote and his wife Laine of Cocoa Beach, FL; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by a brother Michael Cote. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street in Berlin. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
