Norman W. Lalande

Norman W. LaLande, 76, of Berlin, passed away on Friday October 2, 2015 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Berlin on February 11, 1939 the son of Arthur T. and Antoinette (Viger) LaLande and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and had been employed by Groveton Paper Co and Wassau Paper Company, retiring in 1999. Norman enjoyed being outside and especially camping, cutting wood and loved taking walks. He had a great sense of humor. Family includes his wife Arlene (Guerin) LaLande of Berlin, NH; daughters Jane Croteau and husband Jerry of Rumford, ME, Janet Grondin and husband Don of Berlin, NH and Joan Paulin and husband Ron of Australia; grandchildren Jesse Paulin, Misti Paulin, Carrissa Paulin, Spencer Paulin, Cliff Croteau and Derek Croteau; 10 great grandchildren; brother Raymond LaLande and wife Linda of Beriln, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 5, 2015 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service.
