Normand P. Perreault

Normand P. Perreault, 85, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Berlin, NH on January 13, 1938 the son of the late Alphonse and Berthe (Poirier) Perreault and resided in Berlin all of his life. Normand graduated from Notre Dame High School Class of 1956 and served in the United States Army. He married Cecile Cote at St. Joseph Church on August 8, 1964 and over the years was employed by Goldberg's, Sanel's Auto Parts, and most recently VIP. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish (formerly St. Joseph), Ryan-Scammon Post 36 American Legion of Berlin, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a Life Member of White Mountain Post 2520 VFW where he also served as trustee from 1997-2023.

Members of his family include his wife of 59 years Cecile (Cote) Perreault of Berlin; three children: Celine Perreault of Orleans, MA, Denise Cudworth and husband Mark of Indianapolis, IN and Monique Girard and husband Raymond of Berlin; grandchildren Jacqueline Puffer, Anthony Girard, Mary and Rachel Cudworth; great-grandchildren Julia and Jocelyn Puffer; his brother Ernest Perreault and wife Lorraine of Hampton, VA; a sister Lucille Bedard of Franconia, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Louise Perreault.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 1pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment with military honors will take place on Friday August 25, 2023 at 10:30am at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, 536 Cottage St., Littleton, NH.
