Ormond E. "Tom" Holt

Mr. Ormond E. Tom Holt, 83, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the St. Vincent de Paul Health Care Center in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on March 3, 1922 the son of Ernest and Mildred (Williams) Holt and lived most of his life in Chicago, IL before returning to Berlin in 1992. Prior to his retirement Mr. Holt was employed by Marguerite DeLaney Hark as a Chauffeur. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a member of the White Mountain Post # 2520 VFW. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, animals and cars. Members of his family include one brother Carleton Holt of Berlin, NH; two sisters Faye Napert of Dracut, MA and Pearl McMichael of New Brighton, PA; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by seven siblings. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics or to the A.V. Home Care Services, 795 Main Street, Berlin, NH 03570 or to St. Vincent de Paul Health Care Center Garden Fund, Providence Avenue, Berlin, NH 03570. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home.
