Patricia A. (Sanders) Potter, 90, of Kenduskeag, Maine passed away on Feb. 8, 2024 at her home. She was born in Exeter, NH on Dec. 18, 1933 the daughter of the late Waldo I. Sanders and Nina W. (Holman) Sanders. She grew up in Durham, NH and graduated from Dover High School. She was very talented and sang on the local radio station as a celebrity singer, played the organ, and was the lead actress in several high school plays in her youth. Patricia attended modeling school in New York City to become a stewardess and also attended college for two years for bookkeeping. She resided in Texas and South Carolina before moving to Maine over fifty-three years ago. She loved nature, plants, especially orchids and watching the deer and hummingbirds in her yard. She had a passion for M & M’s and sweets, and time spent on her porch and on her recliner with her friend’s dogs on her lap. She enjoyed the time she spent with her friends and family and had a playful sense of humor.
Family members include her children Gregory Potter and wife Margareta of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Roxanne Meek and husband Robert of Kenduskeag, ME. She is also survived by a niece and several nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and three special friends Janice Thibodeau, Barbara Constantine and Lucy Quimby. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Martin Potter and her sister Valmer A. Barthold.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Milan, NH. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH.
