Paul E. Lemieux of Milan Road passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was 79.
Born on July 28, 1936 in Berlin, NH, he was the son of Hilaire and Yvonne (Grondin) Lemieux.
Paul spent 20 years serving in the U.S. Navy following he was employed by James River Corporation in the Finishing Department. He was a member of the VFW and the North American Hunting Club. He was a communicant of St. Kieran Church now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.
In his earlier years he enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
Besides his parents, he is pre-deceased by his wife Rita (Stephenson) Lemieux (2011); a daughter Yvonne Mary Lemieux (1961), an infant grandson Paul Edward Lemieux, two brothers Leo and George Lemieux; three sisters Jeanette Richer, Rita Abelli and Marie Roy.
He leaves behind two sons: Michael P. Lemieux and his wife Katherine of Berlin, Ernest A. Lemieux and his wife Diane of Manchester, and a daughter Geralyn M. OBrien and her husband William of Gorham, NH. Grandchildren: Matthew E. Lemieux, Michael P. Lemieux, Jr., Bonnie A. Aubut, Scotland W. OBrien, and Alexander G. OBrien. Great Grandchildren; Kassidy Lemieux, Travis Lemieux, Ariel Bennett, Jacob Lemieux, Andrew Lemieux, Thomas Lemieux and Tyler Aubut. He also leaves behind a sister Simonne Landry of Maine. Several nieces and nephews.
A Chapel Service with full Military Honors will be held at 1:00pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
Calling hours will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
