Peter J. Riley

Peter J. Riley, 82, of Gorham, passed away Thursday September 26, 2024 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Lowell, MA on October 6, 1941 the son of the late Gilbert T. and Yolande V. (Dewell) Riley and was raised in Chelmsford, MA. He moved to Mont Vernon, NH as a young child and had resided in Milford, NH for many years and then in Mexico, ME for nearly 20 years before moving to Gorham. He was self-employed as a logger and enjoyed woodworking, painting, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.

Family includes his children Shannon Silvia and husband Todd of Raymond, ME and Jeffrey Riley of Milford, NH; grandchildren Riley Silvia and Elyse Silvia; brother Dale Riley of Milford, NH; stepson Christopher Fournier of Milford, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Howard) Riley, a stepchild and 4 siblings.
