Rachel S. Montminy

Rachel S. Montminy, 65, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Concord Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Rene and Stella (Leclerc) Ste. Croix. She graduated from Berlin High School, class of 1977. Post High School, Rachel earned her licensure in cosmetology. Rachel spent a great deal of time on her passion of teaching the Good News of God’s Kingdom. After the birth of her daughter, Rachel became a full-time mom. Later, she started her own business, Rachel's Cleaning Service, and worked for several local homeowners and businesses, becoming a fixture in each client’s life. Her hobbies were nature walks, sewing, reading, and crocheting. She home-schooled her daughter, Jasmine, from grades K thru 12, and tutored several children in the community, treating them all as her own. Rachel was a care-giver by nature. 

Rachel was devoted to her God, Jehovah. Nearly all of her Sundays were spent worshiping and spreading Bible truths throughout the community.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David L. Montminy of Berlin; her daughter Jasmine M. Wilkinson and son-in-law Richie Wilkinson of Ossipee, NH; her brother Peter St. Croix of Litchfield, NH; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family will host a memorial at the Gorham Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make donations in her memory to Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at JW.org
