Raymond L. Daigle, 75, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2024 at his home. He was born in Berlin on October 26, 1948 the son of Francois and Elimire (Bergeron) Daigle and graduated from Berlin High School in 1967 and from the NH Vo-Tech in 1969. He had been employed as a First Assistant Boiler Operator for James River Corporation where he worked for 33 years. Raymond was a member of the of the Berlin & Coos Historical Society. He wrote a book about the Berlin Mills on the Androscoggin River covering 1852-1935 which was placed in the Library of Congress and was printed in Berlin by Smith & Town Printers.

 Family includes his children Peter F. Daigle of Nashua, NH and Julia A. Agrodnia and husband Joe of Berlin, NH; brothers Donald Daigle of Donnellon, FL and Roland Daigle and wife Jeanne of Gorham, NH.

 Graveside Services will be held on Friday September 27, 2024 at 10 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday September 28, 2024 from 11 AM to 4 PM at the White Mountain Community College Bistro. There will be no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the Berlin Public Library Children’s Department, 207 Main St., Berlin, NH, 03570; the Moffett House, 119 High St., Berlin, NH, 03570, AV Home Care, Dorothy’s Gift, 795 Main St., Berlin, NH, 03570 or to North Country Home Health and Hospice, 536 Cottage St., Littleton, NH, 03561.
