Raymond A. Fecteau, 78, of Berlin, passed away on February 27, 2025 at the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. He Was born in Berlin on March 26, 1946, and was the son of the late Leo and Albina (Bergeron) Fecteau. Ray was a lifelong resident of the area and a US Air Force Veteran. He was a graduate of White Mountains Community College, where he earned two degrees. Ray was a longtime employee of the local paper mill, having worked for the Brown Company, Gulf Western, James River Corp., American Tissue and Fraser Papers. He enjoyed time spent hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Along with his interest in aviation, Ray had a passion for music and played in at least three different bands over the course of his lifetime.

Family includes his sons Wayne Fecteau and wife Patricia of Merrimack, and Corey Fecteau and wife Bridget of Florida; daughter Tonya Leveille and husband Alan of West Milan; and grandchildren Chris Tolson and wife Courtney, Cameron Leveille and Alynna Leveille and her fiance Dylan Carpino, and Thomas Fecteau. He was predeceased by his wife Ellen (MacDonald) Fecteau in 2018.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 4-6pm at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will take place privately. Those who wish may make donations in Ray's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Activities Fund, 29 Providence Ave., Berlin, NH 03570.
