Raymond J. "Pete" Lapointe

Raymond J. Pete LaPointe, 81, of Berlin, passed away on April 30, 2019 in Lecanto, FL. He was born in Berlin on March 23, 1938 the son of Edward and Cecile (Aubin) LaPointe and was raised and educated in Berlin. He attended Keene State College where he obtained his Masters Degree. Pete became the Dean of the NH Vocational Technical College in Laconia and also traveled and taught in Saudi Arabia and Africa. He was a Veteran of both the US Marine Corps and the US Army. Pete was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Elks Club and enjoyed his time at camp, fishing, hunting and boating. Family includes his son Steven LaPointe of Moultonborough, NH; his significant other Regina LaPointe of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 13, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Tuesday May 14, 2019 at 11:30 AM. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
