Rene R. Bisson, 86, of Berlin, beloved husband, father, and grandfather was called to his Lords side, Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. He was born in Berlin on February 5, 1929 the son of Louis Bisson and Laura (Turgeon) Bisson and graduated from Berlin High School. Rene proudly served our country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. After returning from the war, he married his bride of 62 years, Lorraine Villeneuve) Bisson, May 30, 1953. Rene then worked for Brown Company (James River) for 36 years, retiring in 1991. Rene enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, traveling with his wife & sons, dancing at the VFW, spending time with his grandchildren and watching the Red Sox. He was a member of the VFW and F. O. E. Renes strong Catholic faith was felt by all of those who knew him well. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Lorraine; three sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Sue Bisson, Danny and Sheila Bisson and Jimmy and Peggy Bisson; seven grandsons Timothy Chabot and his wife Shannon, Nathan Bisson and his wife Heather, Jason Bisson and his girlfriend Darcey, Brandon, Dylan, Tommy and his girlfriend Marissa and Mark; two great-granddaughters Makayla and Jada Chabot; his brother Donald Bisson; his sister Lorraine Pinette; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, father and brother, Richard Bisson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
