Mrs. Rhea (Labonte) Langevin, 85, of 36 Devens St., Berlin, NH passed away on Sunday Dec.. 27, 2009 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on April 3, 1924 the daughter of Aime and Fleurendy (Blais) Labonte and has been a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. Rhea was an avid artist, enjoyed painting landscapes and still life, was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Members of the family include her husband of nearly 60 years Donald R. Langevin of Berlin; a daughter Louise Lindsay and her husband Harley of Virginia Beach, VA; a son Robert Langevin and his wife Christine of Berlin; 6 grandchildren Caryn, Bethany, Matthew, Heather, Jaimie and Jonathan; 4 great grandchildren Ethan, Daniel, Julia and Lana; 3 sisters Anita Filteau of Berlin, Gisele Sheridan of Florida and Irene Oleson of Berlin; 2 brothers Bertrand Labonte and Romeo Labonte, both of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Joseph Labonte and Maurice Labonte and a sister Beatrice Arsenault. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning Dec. 31, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimers Community Respite Center, Berlin, C/O Donald Langevin, 36 Devens St., Berlin, NH 03570.
