Rita L. (Jutras) Michaud 78, of Fifth Avenue transitioned to her next life on Sunday (July 19) surrounded by her loving family with peace and dignity at her home. Rita was one of thirteen children in her loving family. She was born in Berlin, NH on January 19, 1937 the daughter of Edgar and Corona (Danneault) Jutras. She attended Guardian Angel school and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1955. After graduation she became employed at the St Louis Hospital as a telephone operator. After bringing up her family she was employed by the Berlin School District for the special needs children for 21 years. She always enjoyed the smiling faces of her students. She spent part of her summers knitting mittens for her students. Her favorite past time was spending quality time with her grandchildren, and more recently with her great granddaughter, Isabella. Rita and her husband were the former owners of R & R Snacks. She and her husband Wintered in Florida for several years and were joined by three of her sisters and their husbands .Rita was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Her favorite pastime was a good challenging game of golf. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond, Berlin, 2 sons: Peter, Loudon, NH Paul , Dummer, NH, 2 daughters: Paulette King and her significant other, Clifton Barney, Manchester, NH, Patti Parks, Berlin 2 grandsons Jay Michaud and his wife, Katie, Quincy, MA; Brandon King and his wife, Katie, Bedford, NH; 3 granddaughters; Amy Michaud, Berlin, NH; Kasey Parks, Old Orchard Beach, ME; Brittany King and her fianc, Travis Marcotte, Manchester. NH; 2 great granddaughters, Isabella Michaud and Leona Michaud and 2 great grandsons, Reilly King. Talan Marcotte. She leaves 4 sisters, Cecile Croteau, husband Francis, New Carrollton, MD; Rose Cote, husband Romeo, Enfield, CT; Doris Roy, husband Don, Claremont, NH, Lorraine Roy, husband David. Northboro, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, 5 brothers, Maurice, Roland, Emile, Robert and Paul Jutras, 3 sisters: Alice Murphy, Irene Valerino and Eva St Hilaire and a granddaughter, Molly Parks. There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2015 at St. Annes Church with the Rev. Andrew Nelson, celebrant and Rev. Rene Gagnon, concelebrant. Committal will follow in St. Anne Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Roy Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH.
