Rita M Laverdiere

Rita M. Laverdiere 87, formerly of Dummer went to be home with the Lord on Thursday October 6th, 2016. She was a resident of the Coos County Nursing Home.

She was born October 3, 1929 in Berlin, NH and the daughter of Adjutor and Mercedes (Leclerc) Laverdiere. She lived most of her life in Dummer, NH prior to becoming a resident of Coos Country Nursing Home in 2012.

She was also a member of Good Shepard Parish and was employed at Converse Rubber Company for 19 years prior to becoming stricken with MS. Rita enjoyed making butterflies which were featured in the New Hampshire magazine and also making her flower gardens at her home. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and loved her animals.

She is survived by her niece Pauline Lambert and husband Leo of Berlin, Niece Gertrude Duguay of Berlin and Nephew Roger Laverdiere and wife Sandy of Dummer. She also had two great nieces and one great nephew.

She is preceded by her parents, her brother Rene Laverdiere, sister-in-law Yvette Laverdiere and long-time friend Roger Cooper.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 11th at Good Shepherd Parish at 10:00 am and Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home on High Street in Berlin.
