Rita Roy

Mrs. Rita C. (Mailhot) Roy, 77, formerly of 644 Fifth Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Wednesday evening March 21, 2007 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center after a long illness. She was born in Berlin, NH on April 7, 1929 the daughter of Leo A. and Jeannette (Jutras) Mailhot and lived in Berlin most of her life. She was a graduate of Berlin High School with the Class of 1947 and had been employed at Brodies Ladies Shop. Rita was a member of St. Joseph Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include her husband Leo A. Roy of Berlin; three sons Raymond Roy and his wife Lynne of Milford, NH, Richard Roy and his wife Mary of Concord and David Roy of Astoria, NY; a daughter Mrs. Ronald (Louise) Scholtes of Sterling Heights, Michigan; three grandchildren Eric Scholtes of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Matthew Roy and Emily Roy, both of Concord, NH; a brother Raymond Mailhot and his wife Dorothy of Westmoreland, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 24, 2007 at 9:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
