Robert A. Marois, Jr.

Robert A. Marois, 76, of Berlin, passed away of Tuesday July 3, 2018. He was born in Berlin on January 20, 1942 the son of Robert A. Marois and Yvonne (Labrecque) Marois and was a lifelong resident. Robert was a graduate of Notre Dame and the attended the NH Vocational School. He served in the US Marine Corps and was employed as a machine tender in the local mill for over 30 years, retiring from Crown Vantage. He was a member of the CPL Richard Demers Detachment USMC League, the Success Pond Camp Owners Association and the Milan All Weather Riders Snowmobile Club. Robert loved spending time at his camp, hiking, spending time with family members, especially his grandchildren. He was always there to help others. Family includes his daughter Jeanne Marois and husband Jeffrey Hannon of Winchester, MA; grandchildren Bryce Marois-Hannon and Cole Marois-Hannon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings Gene Marois, Priscilla Caron, Roger Marois and Richard Marois. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Saturday July 7 from 4 to 6 PM with a Military Service at 6 PM.
