Robert L. Lapointe (Junior), 80, of Berlin, passed away due to Covid complications on February 3, 2021. At his time of passing, he had his sons by his side at the St. Vincent Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he resided for the past 6 years. He was born in Lancaster, NH on May 19, 1940, the son of the late Francis J. and Olivette R. (Lambert) Lapointe. Bob grew up and attended school in Groveton, NH.
Bob lived most of his life in Berlin and worked for over 20 years as a delivery man for Sanel Auto Parts. Bob had a passion for music; he played in several bands and was known as “Hot Sticks” and lived up to the title. After retirement, Bob spent much of his time walking around town and visiting all of the local shops. He had a routine and people could expect their daily visits from Bob. As a family, we would like to extend our sincere “thanks” for including Bob into your lives and making his daily stops something he looked forward to.
Family includes his sons Donald Lapointe and wife Rhonda and Richard “Pigeon” Lapointe and significant other Michelle Shea, all of Berlin, NH; three grandchildren Christopher Lapointe and wife Camila, Patrick Lapointe and wife Kim, and Mallory Lapointe and significant other Josh Judson; three great grandchildren Hudson Lapointe, Brigham Lapointe, and Oakley Judson. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy.
