Robert R. LHeureux, 55, of Berlin, died on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was born in Berlin on September 2, 1960 the son of Romeo L. and Lorain (Lacasse) LHeureux and was a lifelong resident of Milan-Berlin area. He graduated from Berlin High School with the Class of 1979. Bob had been employed by the US Postal Service for over 30 years, starting as a letter carrier and working his way up to his present position as Postmaster of the Berlin Post Office. Previously, he had been employed as a bartender/restaurant manager of The Peoples Choice Restaurant in Gorham. He enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, antiquing, eating in restaurants, ATVing, driving and spending time with his 3 dogs. Family includes his wife Joann (Riendeau) LHeureux of Berlin; sons Travis LHeureux and girlfriend Missy Nolin of Berlin and Bryan LHeureux of Lebanon; his mother Lorain (Lacasse) LHeureux of Milan; brothers Ronald LHeureux of Madison and Rick LHeureux and wife Sonya of Madison; close family friend Ron Poirier of Madison; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and in-laws. He was predeceased by his father Romeo L. Dooda LHeureux in 2002. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 4, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
