Robert W. Neil

Robert W. Neil, 62, of 669 First Ave., Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday Dec. 13, 2012 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Berlin, NH on June 18, 1950 the son of the late Kenneth A. and Margaret (Christman) Neil and was raised in Berlin. Graduated from Berlin High School. He lived in Maryland and North Carolina where he met the love of his life Cindy. They then moved to Florida, where they made their home. He moved back to Berlin three years ago to be closer to friends and family and enjoy his retirement. Robert enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He worked several construction jobs, retiring as a supervisor for RTD Construction. Members of the family include his wife Cindy Neil of Berlin; his children Michelle Aherns and husband David of St. Petersburg, FL and Ronnie Neil and his wife Donna of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren Halen, Amber and Lindsey; his siblings Mike Neil of Berlin, Kenneth Neil and wife Bobbi of Hooksett, Maggie Letellier and husband Bill of Berlin, Bruce Neil and wife Nancy of Gorham, NH, Lisa Couture and husband Marcel of Berlin, Molly Binette of Rochester, NH and Christy Lavigne and husband Steve of Berlin, NH; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Donald Neil. SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Sunday Dec. 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Services will follow the calling hours at 4 PM in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to a Humane Society.
