Rolande (Belanger) Fortier

Rolande (Belanger) Fortier of Berlin passed away on June 7, 2018 surrounded by her family in her home. She was 89 years old.



Born on January 26, 1929 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Arthur and Mary Jane (Glaude) Belanger.



On January 10, 1949 she married Arthur and together they raised six children.



Rolande was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a communicant of Guardian Angel Parish and now St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.



Her greatest joy was spending time with her family; she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed spending her winters in Florida.



Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Arthur Fortier, two sons Paul Fortier and Arthur Fortier; four brothers and three sisters.



She leaves behind ; Two sons, Peter Fortier of Berlin, NH, and Richard Fortier of Nashua, NH; two daughters Mary Jane Chevarie and husband Conrad of Lakeland, FL and Doris Lapointe of Berlin, NH.; and two daughter-in-laws, Donna Fortier and Holly Bader; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.



A Graveside service will be held at 9:30am on Friday, June 15th at the Riverside Cemetery in West Milan, NH.



Arrangements are under the care of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home.
