Romeo Cote of Gorham passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017. He was 91 years old.
Born on November 6, 1925 in Berlin, NH he was the son of Fertunat and Emulia (Lacasse) Cote.
Romeo served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he received Combat Infantryman Bade, United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Medal with two bronze service stars.
In 1988 he retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he worked as a welder. He was a member of the VFW Post 2520 and a Communicant of St. Annes Church of Good Shepherd Parish.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Rudolph Cote and Reverend Donald Cote; and one sister Olivette Lauzier.
He leaves behind two sisters, Marguerite Larochelle and husband Leo and Sister Agnes Marie along with his nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
