Romona T. Lamontagne

Romona T. Lamontagne, 69, of Berlin, passed away on Monday July 15, 2024 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. She was born in Lancaster, NH on June 30, 1955, and graduated from Gorham High School in 1974. She attended the School of Lifelong Learning and had been a paraprofessional at Ed Fenn School and also had her own cleaning service. She was an artist, an avid reader, and enjoyed crafting and sewing. 

Family includes her children Lee Lamontagne of Manchester, NH, and Shelley McAfee and husband Jason of Orrville, OH; 8 grandchildren; her siblings Russell Gray, Jr. of Gorham, NH, Raylene Beaulieu of Gorham, NH, and Raymond “Gibby” Gifford of GA. She was predeceased by her longtime partner John Schmaing, and by sister Rebecca Gray.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 26, 2024 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
