He would often wake in the middle of the night to work out the details of his most recent project. He passed that work ethic on to his children. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, his parents, his brothers Raoul, Roger and Rene and by his grandson, Nathan. He is survived by his brother, Roland of Berlin, his son, Richard of Fort McMurry, Alberta, his daughters, Barbara and Cathy of Dallas, Texas and his son, Ron of Berlin, by his three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was happy in his last days to hear that a seventh great-grandchild was on the way. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. There will be no services.
