Ronald N. Roy

Ronald N. Roy, 79, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2024 at his home. He was born in Berlin on May 15, 1945 the son of the late Normand and Cecile (Lefebvre) Roy and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1963 and owned and operated Ron’s Variety from 1973-1992. Ronald was one of the founding members of the Spartan Weight Lifting Club and was very involved with the club. He enjoyed gardening and talking with people.

 Family includes his children Christina Lucas of Henniker, NH, Nathan Roy and wife Sarah of Shelburne, NH and Lindsay Demers of Berlin, NH; 8 grandchildren; his sister Louise Hachez of Bow, NH; a niece, Shelly Wright, and a nephew, Brad Hachez.

 A Memorial Service will be held Sunday August 11, 2024 at 5 PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will be held privately at St. Anne Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Spartan Weight Lifting Club, c/o 166 East Milan Road, Berlin, NH, 03570. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
