Rose D. Marrer

Rose D. Marrer, 84, of Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Gorham, NH on June 9, 1929 the daughter of the late Sam and Anna (Piattoni) Dalphonse and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Gorham High School. Rose had been a supervisor for N. E. Telephone and worked in the Invoicing Department for Brown Company, James River and Crown Vantage and later worked for the Mt. Washington Auto Road Red Barn Museum. She enjoyed quilting, socializing with family and friends, people, and long walks. Rose was a member of the M. R. A. and the Holiday Center. Family includes her son Gregg Marrer of Berlin, NH; sisters Maryann Mainguy of Berlin, NH, Gloria Perham of Merrimack, NH, Evelyn Dupont of Gorham, NH and Jennie Roberts of Claremont, FL; brother Anthony Dalphonse and wife Helen of Conway, NH; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence G. Marrar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at Holy Family Church at 10 AM in Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
