Simone I. Torro

Simone I. Torro, 84, of Berlin, NH passed away on Friday September 5, 2014 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on March 11, 1930 the daughter of Alcais and Yvonne (Nault) Perrault and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Notre Dame High School with the Class of 1948. She had been employed by Emmas Restaurant in Berlin and for a time at the Towel Room at the Cascade Mill. Simone was a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne.First and foremost of was family, as well as cooking large holiday meals, friends, church, gift shops, catalog shopping, and Everyone Loves Raymond. Family members include her husband Albert Torro of Berlin, NH; her son Steve Torro and wife Amy of Tewskbury, MA; her daughters Susan Demars and husband Peter of Dover, NH and Gisele Scully and husband George of Rye, NH; grandchildren Brittany Simone, Alexis Lucia, Maura and Tyler; her brother Benoit Perrault and companion Beatrice of Enfield, CT; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Roger A. Torro in 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 12, at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM .
