Simonne M. (Bugeau) Fortier of Berlin passed away on Wednesday, April 04, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92 years old.



Born on April 29, 1925 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Felix and Rose (Boucher) Bugeau. She attended St Regis Academy and Notre Dame High School. She worked at Larochelle Drug Store and then at Toussiant Bakery where she met her husband Bill.



Simonnes greatest joy was her family; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, reading and sewing but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.



Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband Bill Fortier; her sister Rita Bosa and brother Maurice Bugeau.



She leaves behind her four children; Maurice Fortier and wife Diane of Manchester, NH, Elaine Tremblay and husband Pete of Berlin, NH, Normand Fortier and wife Jacqueline of KY, and Michael Fortier and wife Donna of MA; grandchildren, Kristi Mercier, Wesley Fortier and Emily Fortier; great-grandchildren, Samantha Mercier, Jacob Mercier, Ryan Mercier; brothers, Albert Bugeau and wife Rita, Normand Bugeau and wife Juliette and Alfred Bugeau; sisters Lucille Bugeau and Doris Boisselle; several nieces and nephews.



Callings hours will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm and on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH 03570



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home, 29 Providence Avenue, Berlin, NH 03570 and the Alzheimers Association, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301-5004.
