Stella M (Riendeau) Duchesne

Berlin, NH

Stella M. (Riendeau) Duchesne of Berlin passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was 90 years old.

Born in Berlin on November 2, 1926 she was the daughter of Hormidas and Eleonore (Bourassa) Riendeau.

Stella attended Guardian Angel School and Berlin High School. She was a member of the Guardian Angel Parish. She was a devoted Catholic, when she couldnt be in church she would watch Mass on TV.

Her greatest love was her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed Bingo, playing scat, puzzles, yard sales, listening to French Canadian music, and spending time outside on her swing, watching the birds.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Maurice; her brothers Armand, Oliva, Robert and Arthur; a sister Olivette Riendeau.

She leaves behind her sons Michael Duchesne and wife Rolanda of Milan, NH, Roland Duchesne and wife Lorraine of Dummer, NH; daughters Helen Duchesne of Berlin, Diane Dupuis and husband Minet of Milan and Suzanne Langevin of Troy, NH; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Special Caregivers Ann Marie Gingues, Shannon Katz, Jamie Bouchard, Shalyn Roy and Amber Morency.

Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
